Eilon Engineering dynamometers and crane scales can be equipped with RS-232 or RS-485 serial output options, providing flexible integration with a wide range of data acquisition and control systems.

Key Capabilities

• Data Logging and Export
  Serial outputs enable downloading or printing of stored data from the onboard data logger or allow for real-time measurement streaming to external devices.

• On-Demand or Continuous Output
  Choose between:

  • Manual data transmission triggered by the operator

  • Continuous data streaming for integration with PLCs or other control systems

• Connector and Compatibility
  Outputs are supplied with a standard DB-9 serial connector. For PC connection, a USB-to-serial adapter may be required and is available as an accessory.

• Range Considerations

  • RS-232: Recommended for cable runs up to 10 meters

  • RS-485: Supports distances up to 700 meters, ideal for large or distributed systems
